NorFor at the 13th Nordic Feed Science Conference
NorFor participated in the 13th Nordic Feed Science Conference, held in Uppsala, Sweden 9-10 June, bringing together around 70 researchers and professionals from across the Nordic countries and Northern Europe.
NorFor contributed with two oral presentations and two posters. Nicolaj Ingemann Nielsen presented recent developments and future perspectives of NorFor as both an organization and a feed evaluation system. Jon Kristian Summerseth presented research on the milk production response to amino acids absorbed in the intestine, and its economic impact. Ingunn Schei presented a poster on the effects of processing protein feedstuffs to increase AAT, while Johanna Karlsson presented a poster on predicting enteric methane emissions in growing heifers and bulls. In collaboration with Aarhus University there was also a contribution on updated NorFor values for beets and beet silages.
The conference provided an excellent opportunity to share knowledge, discuss the latest developments in feed science, and strengthen collaboration within the Nordic research community.
