NorFor Scientific Advisory Group meeting 2026

On 11 June 2026, NorFor R&D met with the NorFor Scientific Advisory Group (SAG) to discuss ongoing research, emerging scientific topics, and future collaboration. The SAG meeting provides an important forum for exchanging knowledge between NorFor and leading researchers from the Nordic universities.

This year's meeting brought together researchers from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), and Aarhus University (AU). Discussions covered several current research topics, such as individual amino acids, the energy value of protein, improved dry matter determination using wet-NIR technology, and methods for analysing digestibility and degradation rates.

The Scientific Advisory Group plays an important role in supporting the continued scientific development of the NorFor system. Through close collaboration with the research community, the meetings help identify future research priorities and strengthen the scientific foundation of the NorFor feed evaluation model.
