The old API for retrieving and updating data from NorFor will close on 1st of July 2025

NorFor has created a new API that can be used by feed companies, laboratories and clients to update and retrieve data from the NorFor Database.

The new API has been available for a long time and therefore the old API will close on

1^st of July 2025. This means that if the systems you use have not switched to the new API by then, it will no longer be possible to use the NorFor database. 

The new interface for laboratories is described on NorFor’s homepage. Log in as a Laboratory and access the file “NorFor – Laboratory Interface (June 2021)” that can be found under Documents on the left-hand side of the page.

The new interface for feed companies is also described on NorFor’s homepage. Log in as a Feed Company and access the file “Feed Company Interface to NorFor” that can be found under Documents on the left-hand side of the page.
